A 66 lever is also rounded so cannot actuate the lever safety. With straight triggers you can hold your finger in position and use the lever as a trigger tripper if you have the lever safety in place. Curved triggers can still harpoon ya if you do that(don’t ask how I know). To the OP: I have a couple laying around if you PM your address I will hook ya up.

Picked this up a while and it’s just sat in my safe. No work done to it and it’s in like new condition. I guess I just prefer the pistol grip rifles. I’d like to trade it for a pistol grip 1873 18” barrel in 45. Thanks

Flying into Detroit the term "Safety Specialist" is very appropriate. As always, Chas B -

I absolutely agree that both the firing pin and the retaining pin need to be replaced. I'd just like to know what happened. Especially now that the dimensions have shown that the firing pin could NOT have been pushed back far enough to bend the retaining pin to the rear. Thank you all for your thoughts and comments so far.

Does anyone know the vendor name that supplies a brass magazine tube plug which has an O-ring instead of a slot for tightening? Thanks

In 2008, Winchester Introduced new, limited edition of collectable ammo to commemorate the 150th Birthday of Teddy Roosevelt. The ammo is factory made with the 150 grain Power Point load in Nickel plated cases with a unique Roosevelt head stamp. The boxes were done with foil-embossed vintage Winchester artwork & photography. These cartridges are "as new", and never chambered in a rifle, 20 cartridges per box. Boxes are in great condition too. You can get 2 boxes for $100, or all 4 boxes for $195. I pay shipping to you in ConUS.

That’s a new one. I hadn’t encountered “Safety Specialists”.

I know on my ship we ate a lot of canned goods. Especially 3 days and afterwards out of port. Breakfast : Powdered eggs, canned potatoes - fried, canned roast beef, toast. Lunch: Cannned roast beef in some fashion, rice, canned veggies. Dinner: Canned roast beef in some fashion, canned veggies, rice or potatoes in some fashion. At times it seemed pretty tedious. The cooks made do with what they had to work with. Overall they did a good job.

In the old days the airlines had Stewardesses. Then Flight Attendents. Just got off a plane and they had Safety Specialists.

Of course he did. He also had the fans. He didn't look in the box.

Tracers are not, they don't start burning till after they are out of the barrel. It's the primers that make ammo corrosive, these are not that old to have corrosive primers
