Many powders will work for the light loads we shoot in cowboy matches.

700-X,, WST, TiteWad, TiteGroup (High Over All Gun is another name for the exact same powder) are some of the common ones that are in moderate production and often available.   ExtraLlite, Red Dot, Unique, Green Dot, Clay Dot, American Select, are occasionally made and on the market now, but you have to get very luck to find them.

good luck, GJ

Like G.J. said, many are useable, some hard to find and/or pricey.  I haven't used Hodgdon Perfect Pattern, but it is getting good reviews for this and is one of the cheaper ones out there.  Here's one thread:

High Gun is the duplicate powder for Titegroup.

I have been using Perfect Pattern and I think it’s the cleanest shotgun powder I have ever used. I load 12.5 grains behind 1 oz of  7 1/2 shot in STS hulls, very lite recoil and knocks down shotgun targets easily when I hit ‘em!

I started with Clay's, went to International, Clay Dot, Red Dot, and now use Promo ( same powder as Red Dot) .

All were very similar.

Didn't even change my bushing size for the last 3.

Red Dot and Promo seem to be a little dirtier,  but no problem shooting 2 matches without cleaning.

I do swab my chambers between stages, though. Of course YMMV.

I will switch to Perfect Pattern when I use up my supply of Extra-Lite.  I tried a pound and got good results.  PP is a dense powder and would require a different powder bushing and press settings than you use for Clays.

I use Red Dot for pistol, rifle and SG loads.  Promo is similar to Red Dot.  For SG loads I use 10.5gr RD and 1 oz of #8 shot in STS hulls.  Works good for me when shooting smokeless.

Take a look at the clean shot powder from shooters world. It’s been working great for 12 gauge low recoil and pistol caliber rounds.

you can always find it at Bullets By Scarlet, she also has low data for that powder used and tested by many SASS shooters. Scheels is another good supplier on the shelf at a lot of stores.

I'm using Perfect Pattern and I'm very happy with it. I did have to change components to get the column height and a good crimp. I'm using 9.5gr which takes a #12 MEC bushing in my 650. I have used it with good results on 7/8,  1 and 1 1/8oz loads. I drop down one wad size, 3/4 wad for 7/8 load, 7/8 wad for 1oz load etc.

PP does seem to be pretty easy to get, as are most Hodgdon-labeled powders.  Right now it is $267.89 for an 8 pounder at Natchez with free Hazmat through tomorrow, code fh240905

Titewad/accurate Nitro 100NF are also great for lower power loads and are usually available. they are not as dense as pp. I load 3/4 oz and from my research i would have to use a filler to get a good crimp using PP. using a 3/4oz wad and 7/8 load may solve that issue but shot is more expensive than powder.
