Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Isn’t it funny how plumbers always have go get a part? Sounds like “coffee break”.

Dusty Devil Dale
I can sure understand a break or two for people doing that awful job! I usually do my own plumbing and I hate every second of it. As soon as I get the wife's water turned off, that's when every gremlin in the universe seems to find me.

Capt. James H. Callahan
No big surprise. Seems like any project I undertake no matter how small required multiple trips to the hardware store. Seems like I have to make at least 2 trips to the grocery store to boil eggs. JHC

I let my wife know a week in advance. The night before, the morning of and 5 minutes before. Right when I got the pipe cut she starts asking how long ? JHC Isn't that the case!! I'm lucky (and unlucky) to have both a Lowes and Home Depot within a mile of me. If one place doesn't have the wrong part...the other does. If they don't, the Ace Hardware has all the parts to make the wrong part fit. Home owners aren't really home owners. We are home moaners.

Today no one wants to keep anything on hand, everything is just in time inventory, which many times is just not quite in time. And if a whole industry is doing it you really have no alternative if you don’t want to fix it yourself.
