Captain Bill Burt
I do believe ole Slippery Stew is slipping because I couldn't find a post mentioning the South Carolina State Match which is coming soon, April 6-8. Stew is even going to let us vote on 5 stages and give a free match refund to someone, BUT you have to register before February 1st. There's a 160 shooter limit. Shootin Sharyn, Iron Cowboy and I are already in as are quite a few other people. You can register here: https://sites.google.com/site/scstatematch/?pli=1 The best stages are: A, C, H, R, and S, at least that's what the three of us voted for. You can also vote for either bigger posses, or two flights. Iron Cowboy is talking trash about old folks, so hopefully some fast ones will sign up and show him what for, he's too much for me.

Renegade Roper
Roper and Schwaby will be there and we're bringing PW McKlintock, Michele Mayhem and Headshot Hannah. Can't wait to see our southern pards again! And the ice cream guy! (He just needs to make sure he doesn't run out of the most important flavor again! Chocolate!!) Our favorite stages are S, T, U, V and H. Roper

Captain Bill Burt
23 minutes ago, Tyrel Cody said: Is this the match where there's two posse's on every stage where one posse works and one posse shoots and they switch? Maybe. There's a vote going on. All the shooters who register before February get to vote on half the stages and vote on whether the posses are run that way, or there are two waves. I'm going to Tennessee, Georgia, The BP Championship in Indiana and Southeast Regional this year. In my opinion TN, GA, AL, KY state are too close together to hit all of them and that's why I'm not doing Alabama or Kentucky. I'll hopefully pick up either South or North Carolina.

Captain Bill Burt
Tomorrow is the last day to get a vote on the stages and whether there will be flights or two posses per stage. I'm on the fence about adding the two younger Burts so all five of us will be there. It's spring break, so they're out of school. When there are five of you it gets expensive in terms of match fees, place to stay, and ammo! Guess I need to get off the fence and decide while we can still get two more votes. Captain Bill Burt
Well I bit the bullet and registered Kid Flash and Lethal Lizzie. This will be Lizzie's first state match and our first state match where all five of us will be shooting! That's one way to get the stages you want, have five shooters all vote the same.
Captain Bill Burt
The votes are in. There will only be one wave. The stages are posted. I'm pretty sure that at least four of the five the Burt's voted for won, might have been all five. You can see them here. https://sites.google.com/site/scstatematch/stagesvote

Captain Bill Burt
I believe the Bushwhack sold out or got very close. The Burt Bunch will be wheels up tomorrow morning. Badlands Bob #61228
About 2" of rain, 15 mph winds and 42 degrees....all at the same time. Yuck. The feeling is just now returning to my toes. Sometimes the weatherman just deals you a bad hand. I just finished cleaning all my guns. I could hear them rusting on the way home. I had flash rust on my SKB shotgun receiver in just 6 hours.
