Witches don't need them. Even if they did, who would be brave enough to tell her she couldn't fly without one?

 @Alpo

<quote>knew they were thunder and lightning, but for at least 30 years I thought that thunder, in German, was donder.

Oh well. I guess it's never too late to learn. </quote>

Dialects. Also donder is Dutch (a norther Germanic derivative) and by colonization Africaans for thunder.

What's a "Zomibie"?

It’s a gun sales technique using a horror movie myth that gets city boys to buy lots of guns and green boxes of ammo. ;)

Oh, and Congress. That place is full of them.

Many many many years ago my two nephews were the house. I had just gotten myself a bowl of ice cream, and decided that I would be nice and offer ice cream to the children. So I asked the six kids, "Would you like some ice cream?"

My oldest nephew replied, "What kind?"

I responded, "Jimmy said no. How about the rest of y'all?"

I don't know about that. I remember going into McDonald's one time and ordering eight filet of fish sandwiches. I had a serious case of the munchies going.

Ate all eight of them too. I thought I was going to need a plunger to get that last one down, but I did it.

As soon as I saw it on the other thread, I started laughing so hard my wife called up to see what was so funny. She came up and saw it and started laughing too.
