Trigger Mike
saw one in town today. It was 1600. I held it and the butt seemed squared and rubbed right on the pinched nerve in the web of my thumb. I let it go back to the shelf. It was pretty though.
Utah Bob #35998
Look at it this way. You just saved 1600 smackers.
Buckshot Bob
Give it a year the newness will wear off , hopefully the price will come down . It’s hard to pony that much up when you can get a S&W performance center gun for a few hundred less . But if you gotta have a Python ya gotta have it
Charlie Harley, #14153
They are pretty. No denying. A 6” Python in the case at Miami Valley Shooting Grounds was the first gun lust I ever felt. And you never forget your first. ❤️
Hashknife Cowboy
Saw and handled a 4 inch recently...it was sold...it was very nice...it went from "want" to "need."

Rye Miles #13621
My 1993 Python, I think I need a new one to compare!!
Pat Riot
I have yet to see a new Python. Perhaps that’s a good thing. I got my sights set on 2 Ruger Redhawks. Hmmm...for the $1600 they want for a Python I can possibly get both Rugers...now I just need $1600 for the Python to buy the Rugers.

LawMan Mark, SASS #57095L
I've handled three that were pre sold when they came in to the LGS. Mine is pre paid for, and I'm waiting for delivery. I chose a 4.25" one.

If it's anything like my '93 Python it'll be very manageable. I shoot .357's and actually enjoy them!!

I bought a Winchester rifle for $600, kept it two years, and sold it for $1250. That money, and a little more paid for my Python.

DeaconKC
Interesting gun. I had to sell my 4" Python when I got married 30+ years ago to pay off some bills. Could this new one join the herd?
