Tango Mike 20653
Back in 2004 my wife of many years passed away. After 3 years I met and married a cowgirl, and for nearly 12 years we have lived our dreams. Since she liked my brand, a floating R, I decided to brand a pair of her jeans with a very small copy of our brand. The pocket where I applied the hot brand burst into flames and within seconds I knew this would not turn out well. A big patch of damaged denim fell to the ground. My only good luck was: she was not wearing them. Is there a way that I can safely apply a firebrand to denim clothing? Trust me, I will test this time using my denim jacket first. Lunger Dan
Perhaps do it with the jeans being wet.....
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
Dip your iron in a fabric paint and stamp the jeans. Or brand the leather size tag.
Cusz M. Dutch SASS Life 55326
dark brown stain might work instead of paint. Seems like it would have more flex.
J. Mark Flint #31954 LIFE
fabric paints are flexible, that is why I specified them. Latex paint works fine too, but will lose the outer layer over time looking like a stain I suppose you could use flexseal, it works for everything else. Have the brand embroidered onto her jeans? Have a patch made up?

Woody Woodrow
I have not done this before, but I have scorched my pants with an iron leaving a mark. Maybe if the branding iron was not so hot to burn through the fabric, it might leave the brand as a scorched mark. My wife said you should wet the fabric first.
