McCandless Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 ...while doing some paperwork, and there is a scene where the good guys are being chased by a bad guy in a helicopter... Main good guy is told to "go get the Henry, but it pulls to the right!" Good guy gallops off, picks up the Henry, which turns out to be a 1873 Carbine with a Creedmoor rear tang sight, (and of course, the good guy takes out the helicopter pilot, in flight, while standing rock steady, upright, out in the open while automatic gunfire comes stitching towards him, and saves the day!)... Heck of a Henry.
Grizzly Dave Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Ah yes, I know the episode of which you speak. I like the show.
Badger Mountain Charlie SASS #43172 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 All things are possible when emitted from the TUBE. I also watch the show. I recall the episode. At least the cars don't fly off buildings, or do they?
Subdeacon Joe Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 I like how he stands there adjusting the elevation on the sight and manages to dial it in perfectly for a hit on an uphill moving target. But,heck, he was a Marine Sniper, so he can do anything.
Ned Buckshot, SASS #2901 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 And Dinozo whining the whole time about riding a horse! I love the show and watch whenever I can but Dinozo drives me nuts!
Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 "but it pulls to the right!" Uh... is that only in the northern hemisphere...?

Heck of a Henry. THAT'S what I need...a new sight!!! LL
Barry Sloe Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Ya gotta remember that the good guy was a Marine sniper. That makes the whole scene believeable. Barry Sloe
Major E A Sterner #12916 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 It was a 1876 Rifle,Not a 1873
Big Jake1001 Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 I like how he stands there adjusting the elevation on the sight and manages to dial it in perfectly for a hit on an uphill moving target.
