  2. It wasn't just a chicken with a missing part. They also found a couple male Possums that had a missing part..... ..........Widder
  3. The next time you're at a harbor freight, make sure they have your email address. They want your phone number and your email. They almost always ask me.
  4. It would not be right for me to not reply on this Thread, although I didn't expect such kind and thoughtful words from Creeker and others. Thank you kindly. I have only been able to be on the Wire during the evening hours the past few days because I was at the hospital during the day hours with my Moma. Thats what we all called her..... Moma. Sadly, she passed this afternoon at the age of 96 without much suffering and ALL the kids were able to be at her side. Actually, it was a very peaceful passing. My brothers and sister encouraged me to go on to the TN State because Moma kept talking about it for the past couple of weeks. She was as excited about me going as anyone. Sooooo, I still plan to be there. Again, thanks everyone. Trying to help others with Marlin issues is always a pleasure of mine and as long as I can help out, I will continue to encourage my Cowboy and Cowgirl family to always feel free to holler at me. God bless Y'all. ..........Widder
  5. This is several years old, so I'm sure the prices have gone up. https://s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/media.connecteddatasolutions.com/downloads/Archive+Properties+2016+Price+List+rev+9_16.pdf Yeah I see this is 2016. I knew it was a while ago.
  6. Great job Bo by you and all of your club and all that helped. It was a really good match. You can't pick your weather. At least it wasn't a down pour. Good banquet too!!! Jax T
  7. Since I don't text, email. For whatever reason, I can't get Harbor Freight to send me ads. I wish they would.
  8. This is why identifying the make and model and giving a description of what has been done to the gun is important. Most Uberti, Pietta and all Ruger single actions use a coil spring and plunger on the hand/pawl. The Uberti conversions use the old stle leaf spring on the hand. When a SAA clone over rotates the first thing to look at is if the hand spring is broken or weak. Next would be the bolt/trigger spring. Last would be the bolt. In you case everything is the reverse since you changed the factory bolt. So it is bolt, bolt/trigger spring then look at the hand/pawl leaf spring while you have the gun apart.
  9. I have one. $40 shipped to your door. Dang near brand new. Thanks, Sarival Slim
  10. Sample of front and back view, with other subjects, not Tombstone. This one will be set up with 4 holsters on the door, 2 SxS slots and 2 rifle slots, double cup holder, Shotgun swab/brush holder, leather seats.
  11. That's a dang rocket machine Pat...no wheelies ya' hear, how you enjoying WV...I often google houses there, looks like a good state to live in [ I'm allowed to dream !!!!]
  12. Added an arrow to Abilene's photo to show where "at this point" is located. You also need to make sure the head of the bolt fits into the cylinder notch. Sometimes they are wide and need to be fitted in addition to setting bolt drop.
  13. CTM & Cummo I see regularly, lost contact with Gypsy, been told his health is not the best.
  14. While not buying, I did a bit of reading. I think the knife was made by Dreiturm Solingen, which is a German maker of cutlery. Look for additional markings on your's to confirm. It may have been either a tool for use at Bayer factories or perhaps related to marketing, but the Bayer marking is more likely a property stamp than other conjectures. Bayer started in the 1860s as a dye company, formed to manufacture and sell synthetic dyes. Aspirin came later. Anyway, free bump.
  15. I prefer email. I read email using Thunderbird. Thunderbird has filters. Thunderbird does not have google ads on the screen (my email is handled by gmail). Any email which might be interesting in general at some point and comes in "often" gets added to a filter to drop it in a folder. I have folders for gun stuff, car stuff, other stuff, general stuff. Once every few months I go into the folders and delete hundreds or thousands of mails with a few keystrokes. And if I do need something, I can look at the most recent mails in a folder to see if what I am looking for is available at a good deal. Sometimes it is. The key is that I take control of the marketing; I look for what I want to buy today, not at what they want to sell today. At time I do also unsubscribe from certain vendors, when the deals a never really good or shipping wipes out any savings. Not that it really matters to me since this is extra effort, but it might help the vendor eventually figure out they are not succeeding for some reason (price, shipping, no value to me). Texts get ruthlessly culled and unsubscribed or blocked if they are not relevant to me. I like a quiet phone except for those in my address book or authentication codes for web sites, weather alerts, alarms system alerts, stuff that matters to me now. I do not need suggestions for what to buy; I already have a list.
