  2. I had one from Longhunter very nice gun I sold it because I didn't want to give up on my 87 the buyer wanted a back up now he has 2 Woodfox
  3. 5 misses and a question as to why he didn't clean the star.
  4. JEB stated that those star targets....."may be shot with shotgun". The word 'may' constitutes an option for the shooter...... not a requirement. Atleast that's how I read it. If it was a requirement, it should have read..... "must be made up with shotgun" or something more specific. EDIT: GJ is a faster typer than me..... ..........Widder
  5. Because the word "MAY" is in the instructions, it is not required for the shooter to try to make up ANY Texas star misses! It's just an option offered to the shooter. After first five rounds are fired, a different target type becomes "active" and the five stationary targets become "inactive". So, no P for hitting any of them with the second five shots. So, 5 misses for TS plates not dislodged. Next. good luck, GJ

  7. Some of the worse advice going. Because factories load with non-canister powder (stuff that is not available to reloaders) made cheaply and only to a particular performance specification, which they would not "tell their mother on their death bed." If you were to use it in low pressure pistol cartridges, there's PROBABLY minimum risk. Because you can fairly well watch for pressure signs in cartridge loads. In shotshells, it would be a lot like playing Russian Roulette, since the max safe pressures are very low, and plastic hulls and shotshell primers do not let you see accurate pressure signs. Probably lots better to switch to Black Powder or subs. good luck, GJ
  8. 5 pistol misses on the star.. P for failure to clean the remaining targets on star with shotgun.. as per instructions..
  9. Almost like it was in common practice historically to mail order guns without a background check
  10. This is my first season using a Sharptail. So far I’m loving it.
  11. They do exist. I have parts of the kit. My point is, what modifications has his Miroku had? The stock gun should have some kind of interlock on the bolt to prevent out out of battery discharge.
  12. Guess who Jane was……..Maureen O’Sullivan
  13. Yes. The Jane swimming scenes were pretty revealing at the time.
  14. I feel my asking price is fair based on prior sales seen at auction on unfired versions of this revolver. That said, if you wish to submit a "Reasonable" offer, drop me a PM and I will give it consideration. Tom
  15. Its not something that one would wanna' do, but because of necessity. Walked into so many gunshops in my travels the last 6 months enquiring about pistol powder and the comments are all "Do what everyone else is doing breakdown shotgun shells".
  16. Not only that but to a young boy, some of the swimming/water rescue scenes were rather revealing in some of the earlier black and white Tarzan movies. Looking back now, I'm surprised that they were shown during the late 60's on tv. Some kids might have said Shazam, I always said Ungawa!
  17. One of the, if not the, last book in the series is called Tarzan's Foreign Legion. World War II, and there's an American bomber in Dutch Guinea. They have a RAF officer - a colonel named Clayton - who's going to deadhead with them. And they get shot down and they all bail out and when they got to the ground they're trying to get back together. The American crew all find themselves, and they're looking for that poor dumb britisher, when they hear a voice coming from up in the trees. They look up there, and there's an almost naked man wearing a breach clout made from parachute silk. Naturally they decide that he hit his head and has gone crazy. And the captain yells up to him, asking him what he's doing up in the tree like some bally Tarzan. He replies that he is Tarzan. Now they're sure he's gone wacky, and then the captain snaps his fingers and says, "That's why that name sounded familiar. John Clayton, Lord Greystoke. He is Tarzan." And one of the gunners looks over at the captain and asks, "You mean dat's Johnny Weissmuller?"
  18. There is no 1st handgun, 2nd handgun. Its first 5 shots, second 5 shots. I'd go with Griff on this one..... although I think the shooter has the option to either continue the sweep for 1st 5 shots, or once he/she declared malfunction and tabled the 1st handgun, they could start the sweep over again. If they so do, they earn 3 misses. EDIT: if the TO directed the shooter to table the 1st handgun and there is NO ROUND stuck in the barrel, shooter can request a reshoot with a clean start. ..........Widder
  19. With all 5 plates still on the star, I would assess 5 misses. Because those pistol targets NO LONGER were the assigned pistol targets for the 2nd pistol, it would be hard for me to give a 'P'. ..........Widder
