Blackwater 53393 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 Looks like an answer to a question nobody asked.
Pat Riot Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 I will file this right along with the S&W Super Carry info in the “maybe next century” file.
sassnetguy50 Posted October 4, 2024 Posted October 4, 2024 How big is the lead free rimfire hunting market?
Pat Riot Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 I just got a new rimfire. Henry Frontier Octagon .22 Magnum. It’s an NRA model. My wife’s uncle gave it to me.
watab kid Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 interesting round , and writeup sounds good on it but its way to early in its life for me to make that buy , i like staying with traditional ammo really , at least those in my lifetime ,
Rye Miles #13621 Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 No thanks .22 and .22 mag are just fine 🤠

They just bulled ahead with misguided legislation based on flawed research and less than purely scientific evidence!!

Lawdog Dago Dom Posted October 5, 2024 Author Posted October 5, 2024 Can’t speak for Pat, but this one is just outside the kitchen door.

Hardpan Curmudgeon SASS #8967 Posted October 5, 2024 Posted October 5, 2024 Kinda expensive, but I'm pretty sure someone - prob'ly a bunch o' someones - are gonna load 'em up in regular .22 rifles and handguns. Might be fun, with the pill scootin' down the barrel like a bobsled....

Might be fun, with the pill scootin' down the barrel like a bobsled.... The 21 Sharps is not loaded with a healed bullet like the 22LR. The bullet is like that of the 22 WMR so it has smaller dia. than the 22LR barrel. An article I read says that the reason for it is the sub par accuracy of non toxic 22LR ammo.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474 Posted October 6, 2024 Posted October 6, 2024 I wonder how long it will take for the ammo to become unavailable?
sassnetguy50 Posted October 7, 2024 Posted October 7, 2024 22WRF is still available so there is a chance.
