I just got a new rimfire. 

 

Henry Frontier Octagon .22 Magnum. It’s an NRA model. My wife’s uncle gave it to me.

interesting round , and writeup sounds good on it but its way to early in its life for me to make that buy , i like staying with traditional ammo really , at least those in my lifetime ,

NOPE!!  California didn’t ask!!  They just bulled ahead with misguided legislation based on flawed research and less than purely scientific evidence!!

No, unfortunately. Is the range I belong to about 40 miles from home. I live in a small town. They probably wouldn’t appreciate me shooting in my backyard.

Kinda expensive, but I'm pretty sure someone - prob'ly a bunch o' someones - are gonna load 'em up in regular .22 rifles and handguns.  Might be fun, with the pill scootin' down the barrel like a bobsled....

The 21 Sharps is not loaded with a healed bullet like the 22LR.  The bullet is like that of the 22 WMR so it has smaller dia. than the 22LR barrel.

An article I read says that the reason for it is the sub par accuracy of non toxic 22LR ammo.
