In the book we have this retired Air Force officer and he is writing an alternative history story. VENI VIDI VICI THROUGH AIR POWER. What would happen if Julius Caesar had had airplanes. So he's telling this to a friend, and the friend asks what type of planes. World War I era biplanes. And the friend says, "So they would have machine guns?" And the author says, "Oh, don't be silly.
