Last year, we were busy getting ready to sell our home and move, so we delayed Christmas to July, and celebrated on the Cape; everyone had a great time.

This year, we're renting a villa and taking our son and daughter-in-law to Turks and Caicos for Christmas; nothing like the blue Caribbean waters to wash away the stresses of Covid and associated government nonsense.

I am hoping that this Christmas will be my last in California. That is my Christmas Wish for me. :D

Everything is sitting in shipping containers out in the ocean.  So kinda irrelevant when Christmas is.

Only if you don't understand the reason for the season :)

That Savage pistol in the 1917 version handles and points almost as well as the Remington M51, and it holds 10 rounds in the mag if memory serves me.

....... are you sure about that ?

So my memory isn't totally shot.  The 1917 version had some features that the earlier models didn't, most notably as modified grip contour which made it more ergonomic but also made it look bulkier and not so attractive.
