Cat Brules Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 No, I’ve never asked myself that question ‘cuz I already know the answer.
Cypress Sam, SASS #10915 Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Sugar is soluble in water, grease is not.

Cypress Sun Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 I've often pondered that very question. I'm pretty sure that it is because "Sugar, Sugar" was an Archies's song and there was no way that a bubblegum song was going to stick in anyone's arteries. It mainly just became an "ear worm" to many people who (at this very minute) can hear this horrible song in their head. Grease, on the other hand, was a dumb movie starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and sort of the predecessor to Saturday Night Fever. Both of them stuck to your arteries because they got under your skin and stuck there after the music was played over and over on the radio.....up until you threw the radio out of the 3rd story window or just turned it off. Now, after many years of ear worm cleansing, the Grease has dissolved with no lasting ill effects. I hope this clears it up for your Widder. Your welcome.

Sure ticked off a lot of people, but it also got me noticed a lot, even promoted a time or two. Also got me fired sometimes. Cest la vie.
Smoky Pistols Posted April 1, 2020 Posted April 1, 2020 I should learn to ask "why?" more often. My bosses are seriously getting annoyed with my usual response- "Or what?"
