Reuben McCoy Rankin # 34239
2 things !. I would have liked to see it turn and zap the SOB's that kicked it. 2. It would make one heck of a gun cart!!!!
Sparky Nelson
2. It would make one heck of a gun cart!!!! That's one of the goals behind the development - to haul supplies & ammo onto an active battlefield over broken ground. They're also looking at using them to evacuate wounded troops. But dressing one up like a mule and having it follow you around a match would be a hoot!

My guess is that those kicks were to demonstrate lateral stability. That's one of the goals behind the development - to haul supplies & ammo onto an active battlefield over broken ground. They're also looking at using them to evacuate wounded troops. But dressing one up like a mule and having it follow you around a match would be a hoot! Ammo hauler, SAR, mine/IED detection and deactivation, for starters.

Calamity Kris
It's amazing how far technology has come. I would hope they find a way to make the servo's quieter. I can imagine it would be really hard to have it sneak up on the enemy if it's whirring and buzzing all the time, especially the big one with the gas engine. Linn Keller, SASS 27332, BOLD 103
Saddle. I like that idea. Mount a platoon on these, send 'em into battle. Call it cavalry. Wait a minute. Mounted on a critter ... soldiers riding into battle ... cavalry? Hasn't that been tried before? Use 'em to haul ammo or supplies in a war zone. I seem to remember something called a "Pack Mule." Nothing new under the sun!
Boon Doggle
Don't have to feed it, nor let it out in the middle of the night. Could probably throw an old buffalo skin blanket and some saddle bags over it and pass it off as a gun cart. What's not to like.
