No. Many people will play these numbers. If it hits, the jackpot will be divided by the number of people who played. That happened once and the payout was so low, the state cancelled the drawing and refunded the tickets.

My daughter and her hubby got married on 11/11/11. They wanted to have it happen at 11:11AM but it was already take so they opted for 12:34PM.

Happened at the AFB in Las Vegas - I can never remember the name - and there was an air show that day. As they left the chapel they were saluted by a Japanese Zero and a P-47.

Kinda cool all the way around.

That would be Nellis.

Chances of winning one of the big jackpots is about the same as getting hit by lightning in the old NORAD facility inside Cheyenne Mountain! I won a lottery ticket once...$2.00. Used it to play again...and LOST! :(

Here in Ohio the 3 # lottery is 0-9…so I played the Pick 5 which is 0-40. I played 12-13-14 and couple of other numbers that mean something to me. If I win I just may buy everyone a drink! :P

A good friend of mine, the son of another good friend of mine, got married today. After working at my new job, I couldn't make the 2.5 hour drive to make the wedding.

I did send my daughter a text at 3:16 p.m.

No idea why I can't ever remember that. It's not like haven't been there dozens of times and been driving past it a couple of times a year (or more) for the last 55 years.

Thanks for the info though. I probably won't remember it for very long.

Seems like my rememberer thingy gets worse every day. Uh, who are you, again?

If you win you'll probably have to split it with a whole passel of other folks who had the same brainstorm and end up with a buck two eighty as your share.

I have no problem with playing the lottery, in moderation. I will admit that I have bought a ticket once in awhile when there were millions in the coffers. The time spent relaxing and daydreaming about what I would do if I won were no less entertaining than the time spent watching a sitcom, or some of the bad movies I've paid to see. Knowing the reality of the odds meant I wasn't disappointed when I lost.

But if I'd won...!!! There would be lots of guns, a few cars, and maybe even an airplane (such as a Grumman Tiger, not a warbird) in my future! Oh, did I mention lots of guns? :D
