Sgt. C.J. Sabre, SASS #46770
We haven't really done much in the heavy lift chopper field since the 70s. Neither have the Ruskies. I think that all of those huge vehicles they came up with mainly for Cold War propaganda purposes, including this one, have been rotting away in a bone yard somewhere since collapse of the Soviet Union. Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Another lift video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0asO6p235RU A woolly mammoth frozen in ice. The load three tons heavier than the chopper's lift limit. The comments say the chopper went back to the factory for inspection after the job was completed.
