He can start drawing over 30K a year in his mid 50's for chrissake! If he waits till his 60's it goes up around mid 40's. I don't like eliteism, but it seems to work real well for Congress. They were able to hide FDR's polio and leg braces during 3 of his 4 terms in office. If we heard rumors, we just ignored them. When Kennedy was shot, we heard rumors all that day in junior high, but no one believed it. The principal [a Texan no less] banned teachers from saying anything for fear there would be a melt down...and teachers told us they couldn't talk about it it wasn't til my senior year that a "modern" history teacher told us facts about JFK and his personal life.
