Muleshoe Slick Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 I remember seeing Tupelo Flash interviewing someone at EOT that made gun leather to fit women. Any of you pards remember who that was?
Christopher Carson Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Didn't see that interview, but do know that Mernickle and Galco both make contour belts for women. Probably El Paso as well, but that's just a guess. Might be almost all the bigger makers do, and maybe you just have to ask. -Chris

Boon Doggle Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Jack Houston Lone Rider Leather, http://www.loneriderleather.com/ Jack made the Ladies Rig as seen on the white background for my Better Half. Also have one of his shotgun belts. I can’t say enough good things about his work. Give him a call before you buy anything. Very reasonable prices and a good guy to boot.
Anvil Al #59168 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Jack Houston makes some really nice stuff. http://www.loneriderleather.com/ My wife just got a new B-Western rig from Jack. Really nice. Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Well-known leather makers like Ted Blocker, Bob Mernickle and El Paso Saddlery set up shop at EOT and spend time fitting a lady with a rig that fits her perfectly and satisfies her personal taste. Longhunter's store carries a good selection of Kirtpatrick leather. A lady can spend several a few days checking out leather goods at EOT and get a rig that will meet her needs for years. My wife ordered a new Holy Terror rig at Winter Range from Bob Mernickle and can't wait for it to arrive. Bob spent 45 minutes at WR with her explaining options and getting the fit perfect before she placed a order.
Capt. Morgan Rum, SASS #6859 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Kirkpatrick makes a very nice ladies rig that is also designed for competition. http://www.kirkpatrickleather.com/product/h_tq-l.htm

Slowhand Bob, 24229 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 It would be a bit of a misnomer to refer to one belt configuration as being a ladies model, to many body styles for one belt contour to work for all, or even most, women. Some of us guys even have a high ride caboose that makes contour belts advantageous while many of the gals are narrow beamed and do not need contour.
Stormy Reinz, SASS #41707 Posted March 17, 2011 Posted March 17, 2011 Jack Houston was making ladies holsters a long time before the "big names" started marketing to women. He has the experience and good prices! http://www.loneriderleather.com/
