New Coke was a ploy to get the high fructose corn syrup in it. When it failed as they new it would they brought out Classic Coke that was almost like the old stuff, except they swapped Syrup for the sugar. They were able to get the Classic Coke on the market pretty quick when folks balked at the New Coke. Wish I could find the Kosher Coke somewhere.

Once in a great while, I can find Dr. Pepper made the old way, with sugar. Only one plant in Texas (Paris, Tx. ?) still makes it. Tastes ALOT BETTER

Wondering how many of the above posters or other lookers actually checked the web site to see that Pepsi could possibly hand out a quarter million to HSUS?

 

Even without the support for HSUS by Pepsi I'm still drinking the Coke. Pepsi goes flater than a mother-in-law's kiss in no time at all.

My Mom always bought Pepsi and my bestest buddy's family always had Coke. I thought Coke tasted better, not as sweet. I complained and Mom bought Pepsi and Coke. What a spoiled child I was!!??

Darn it... I love Levis... Wranglers are fine, but the waist gaps open... Levis did sell out and move out of the south .. but I am not real sure that Wrangler makes much here either. But they are pro Rodeo, and guys look good in them.. lol

Also, Levis quit contributing to the Boy Scouts of America because the BSA refused to allow gays to be Scoutmasters. No problem. I've been wearing Wranglers now for over 40 years and I'm too old to change my ways now. Wranglers and Barq's root beer.

You're right Jim, horrible organization. Humane Society of the United States advertises by mail HEAVILY using a name that is close to the Humane Society. If you donate, you get stickers and cheap bags with pictures of cute puppies. They're actually a PETA type organization that wants to stop hunting and owning pets. Not political, just a true statement of the facts.

Back in da late 80's, Levis made a commercail(sp) showin' dey aint gonna be sellin'em to truckers anymore.

 

I had bout 50 pairs...each wif various holes and such........

 

 

Sent all of'em back wif a "Kiss my --- !!!!' note and bought Warnlgers instead !!

Sassparilla Kid would rather drink from a muddy hoofprint than touch Pepsi.... but he far prefers Coke made with sugar instad of "high fructose corn syrup." And the ony place it's made any more is Mexico! Bought a case for 'im from Costco last night... dang near eighteen bucks for 24 bottles...

 

I gotta drink the diet stuff... but my sauce of choice is A&W Root Beer.
