By the way, the REAL Judge Roy Bean was from Mason County, KY and did many things in his life to not only survive, but prosper. AND, he WAS in the Confederate Army! He ran cotten through Union blockades from San Antonio to British ships moored at Matamoros, Old Mexico serving the CSA and making a buck. And then, the 1880's made the man a legend. Don't ever underestimate a Kentuckian! My kind of guy!
