  3. depends on what they are for , but yes , i do have about that many for my three gun 1911 that i keep fully loaded along with about that many for my DPMS carbine 556/223 , there are a bunch of 9mm glock mags for my sub 2000 and a handful for the S&W 59 i keep in a go bag , the mags are not damaged by keeping them loaded and or empty , the spring wear occurs with repeated loading and unloading , oh and i keep a handful of M1A mags loaded with 762/308 too , had to come back to add that my carry guns [2] are loaded and at least two mags for each are as well with them ,
  4. In Tennessee I always have a raincoat in my truck and as you can probably tell by some of these posts, you might want to bring hip waders! Randy
  5. I checked yesterday and the WB handbook specifically states that the 1911 must be in 45 ACP WBHB pg 11
  6. Some number of years ago bought a bunch of 38 brass from a pard in Florida. Two boxes of roughly two thousand each. One showed up pristine the other completely empty! Had a corner smashed and open not one case in the package! Would have thought someone would notice 2K brass on the floor! USPS said they received it that way but with no internal bag to contain anything in the event of damage,’no recourse. Could not prove what had been in the package so no claim for recompense. Out 2K brass! Regards Gateway Kid
  7. For Bigmouth, my EDC 1911, I have 6 magazines. Four are loaded at all times, 1 up the pipe, 1 in my pocket, 2 in a magazine pouch that can clip onto my belt, and 2 empty for range use because I'm too lazy to unload the others for that purpose. My Star Firestar has 3, 1 in the pipe, 2 in a pouch. I don't carry my LCP often, but it's 2 magazines are loaded. Additionally, my 625 is loaded, and I have a speed loader pouch with 4 more loaded full moon clips in it. There are also 3 loaded Taurus 85s stashed strategically in the house.
  8. If we are talking En-Blocks, sure, why not as long as they are kept somewhere dry and dust-free. Same with stripper clips. If we are talking detachable magazines, then no...a few yes but not all of them for various reasons. For those who have shotguns with detachable magazines, I don't suggest preloading the magazines for prolonged storage as the crimped end of the shell will begin to oval and WILL NOT chamber when it needs to.
  9. Weren’t the WB rules changed to allow 9mm?
  10. Given that a 1911 chambered in 9mm is not WB legal, what would be the advantage of having a rifle in 9mm?
  11. Enough to fill up the bandoliers. 2 clips per pocket, I think it's 8 pockets per bandolier.
  12. For my semiautomatic guns I have numerous magazines. Some hold as few as five rounds and some hold seventy-five. All the magazines for all my guns are fully loaded!
  13. I'm surprised that you responded at all. Re phone calls. I get legitimate phone calls from my health insurance company from various 800 numbers, so I do answer them. But, when the call goes, "May I speak with Joseph Lovell?" "Speaking." "Is this Joseph Lovell?" "Speaking." If the person pushes for a yes or no answer I just hang up. Past that, any other questions I try to answer with anything but "Yes." Again, if pressed with, "I need you to say yes" when I give some sort of affirmative response, I hang up. The calls I get about, "Have you received your monthly benefit card yet?" I say, "No, not yet. Please send it. You have my number so you have my address." Then I hang up.
  14. i never open any attachments on emails that randomly come to me , but i appreciate knowing about all these new scams ,
