You can buy the Lee 20lb bottom pour pot on Amazon for around $100, that's what I got. It's Jackpine Bill approved. -
Oliver Winchester Commemorative 38-55
Capt'n Rudy replied to Two Shoots's topic in SASS Wire Classifieds
That’s a beautiful rifle. I own the exact rifle and every time I take it to the range I get numerous compliments on it. It’s a real eye catcher and good shooter. I also have a brass Henry in 38–55 and I like shooting this Winchester much better. regards, Capt’n Rudy - Today

Thanks, PaleWolf!! I’m guessing, (because I don’t know the rules for the Oregon legislature) that if these RINOs had walked out that there would not have been a quorum and thus no legislation would have been passed. The article says that there is no penalty for doing so and if that is true then these “Republicans” are pure turncoats and should be recalled and replaced!! I assure you that the Dumbasscrats in the same situation would have been NOWHERE TO BE FOUND!! You and the other law abiding citizens of that once fine state have my sincerest sympathy!!

My waiting is over. The Clay Target Center called me for a clarification at 9:55 AM and confirmed I was booked. I will arrive a few days before Fire and Ice so I can shoot the 5-Stand after dark again on Thursday PM. My local Tractor Supply just got in the 2026 Old Farmer's Almanac. I need to buy one and check the weather for February in Central Arizona. 🤪

POOP #2? Everyone but Boston John Doucette #1 was #2. There could be thousands of us by now.

I don't know about Pokemon cards, because I never had anything to do with Pokemon. But round about 2000 I was in an antique store and they had these. That's the kind of crap that makes you feel old. It's bad enough that they have the toys you played with as a kid. But when they've got the coffee cups you've still got in your cabinet. Dayum.

Have not been involved here for quite some time, but passing this along to those interested: MGW (Midwestgunworks.com) has some factory Marlin 1894 parts available. The 357-carrier assembly is one of these available parts. And to answer the inevitable question, yes this is a legitimate company and has been so for many years. Surprised me too.

I’m of the opinion that the proposed merger with DEA is counterintuitive, mainly for the reasons put forth here, but also because it would create a larger bureaucracy that would be far more difficult to oversee and to keep on task!! With a “streamlined” BATFE, perhaps moving alcohol and tobacco to DEA where they actually should be, and a narrowed scope of regulation and responsibility, it would become more manageable and less likely to drift from its intended purpose.

Want to buy a good used lead pot for casting bullets for my long range rifles. Casting will be new for me. The first step is to find a pot. I'd like a larger, electric, bottom pour pot to use to melt down scrap lead I've accumulated. I have some good pards who will mentor me. Reply if you can help.
