Dillon’s “No BS Warranty” has some new Wrinkles:

Due to a bunch of low-lifes ordering free replacement parts and turning around and selling them on eBay, Dillon now requires pictures of the damaged/broken parts when you send in a replacement part request.

You still get the part(s) for free, including shipping but getting a back-up is no longer an option unless you buy it and then you have shipping tacked on that purchase.

so don't throw out the old/broken parts before you take a picture 📷

here is a copy of their email to me:

Thank you for your inquiry, we do have a No BS warranty.
When there are multiple parts requests, we ask for pictures of the amount of damaged, worn, broken parts, or an RMA to assure we are doing our due diligence.

Thank you for your support.

Although within a year back, I obtained an old RCBS single stage from a Pard here that quite rusty. I cleaned and reblued it and it looks like new! Went to their site to order a primer catcher and found only one for a different machine. So sent an email asking if there was available for my model and vintage. Got reply within an hour that a new one was on its way as a warranty replacement.

I don't blame them at all. Dillon is the best! Too bad scumbags take advantage!

From a business perspective, I can't fault them one bit.  Still a great company to deal with.

Were it I,  there would also be a spread sheet of names and number of parts ordered.  There always seems to be some scumbag finding a way to steal from others.  DILLON, RCBS, LEE, REDDING all have the most comprehensive warranty programs on the PLANET.

Twice RCBS has sent me parts free of charge. First time I lost the small rotor to my powder measure in a move. Called and told the rep what happened and how do I buy a replacement. Took my info and said they would send it out right away.  When I asked how much the rep said no charge. Second time it was for a damaged depriming assembly. Again no charge and they also sent a package of pins to go with it.

I asked about deprime pins once from RCBS, they sent me 10 for no charge. I'm still a Blue guy though:lol:

Can't blame Dillon or any other seller at all.  I remember many years ago one of the gun distributors posted a notice that if you had purchased a particular model revolver you could request a replacement mainspring because they had sent out a batch of guns with a weak mainspring.  The rep told me they received more requests for free springs than the number of guns they had sold.

At one time Smith and Wesson was allowing clubs to purchase revolvers at some kind of reduced price to be used as prizes at the larger matches.  Eventually it came to their attention that at least one club/match was just using the program to buy guns for themselves cheaper. Not using them for prizes. That ended the program.
