Abilene Slim SASS 81783
My neighbor still has Christmas lights up. Is he ahead or behind the curve?
Alpo
Just now, Abilene Slim SASS 81783 said: My neighbor still has Christmas lights up. Is he ahead or behind the curve? I think that would depend on whether he turns them on at night. There are several houses in my neighborhood that still have Christmas lights up. Mostly those icicle lights. But they don't turn them on. Probably sometime around Halloween they will turn them on, and I believe that would be too early but maybe that's just me. But leaving them up? I see no problem with that. Unless they're turned on, most people probably wouldn't notice them.
Subdeacon Joe
Feast of the Annunciation. One of the earliest feast days in Christendom. Also one of the earliest icons, dating to the 2nd century as a drawing in the catacombsof Priscilla. This feast is how the date for the Nativity of Christ was established
Pat Riot
With LEDs it’s cheap to leave your lights on if you leave them up. I have often wondered; if you leave your lights up and turn them on every night does that make the neighbors nervous about you perhaps being a “Whack Job”? If so, I need to find some decent Christmas lights. Anyone know of any good deals right now? 1
