Ratio cattle to people

Five countries have more cattle than people: Uruguay, New Zealand, Argentina, Australia, & Brazil. Uruguay has the most cattle per capita in the world. New Zealand has more than twice as many cattle as people. The world has roughly 6.9 humans for every 1 head of cattle. Brazil has over 200,000 head of cattle and 200,000 people. India and the United States have roughly the same ratio of cattle to people.

South Dakota has a ratio of 4.5 cows per person. Wyoming 2.4 cows per person.

I was surprised!  Tennessee is the ninth largest beef producer in the nation.  We are also the number four state in the number of beef operations.

 

The ratio of cattle to people, (beef cattle, Tennessee also has a large dairy cattle crop) is about 2.5 people per cow.

 

Tennessee also breeds and ships cattle to other states at the rate of approximately one million cows per year.

There are twice as many kangaroos in Australia as there are people. The kangaroo population is estimated at about 45 million.

We have 3 head of cattle here on our farm. I believe my brother said on March 14, he is going to reduce the herd by 1/3 and fill his freezer. 

The rest of the herd might be sold or moved to his farm down south.

Either way, I won't have to feed them every day.

according to recent news we are short on cattle here so prices of beef are going to go up , but what else is new , prices of everything is going up , thanks joe , keep telling us that inflation is down , we all live here and see whats real
