Yul Lose
Looking back at EOT 2024 from my saddle I’d say it went really, really well and went by far too fast. In the EOT’s that I’ve attended since 2007 I don’t believe there have ever been this many young competitors, by young I mean younger than 20 or so. The Chicken George family, The Mesquite Jenkins family, Evil Do Gooder and his family and many more that I didn’t get to visit with all made the trip and paid the $$$’s to be there and we should all be glad that they did, it was good to see. I’m pretty sure that the planning for EOT 2025 started before the last shot was fired. Tomorrow morning you won’t be able to tell that the SASS World Championship Of Cowboy Action Shooting had even happened there at Ben Avery Shooting Range. Everything is put away and about 10 months or so from now Larsen Pettifogger will start a Rumblings In The Desert thread for EOT 2025. I took a lot more pictures than I was able to post because of internet issues at the range and if I post them now I’d never be able to get the correct alias with the right picture, somehow after seeing all the people I saw over the last week a lot of you kinda look a lot alike.. Sixgun Seamus and I started playing EOT tag a couple of years ago and I believe he was this years winner as he was the last 2 years. If you haven’t been to an EOT you owe it to yourself to do so. If you don’t feel comfortable competing against some of the best shooters in the world join the Rangers and help make it happen, there’s plenty to do and Rattlesnake Slim and Leadbender are a couple of great pards to work for. Start making your plans for EOT 2025, February 24- March 2nd. I’ll see you there. Edited March 5 by Yul Lose 2
Tex Jones, SASS 2263
Yul, It's become a tradition to have you, and now Seamus, take the time and make the effort to keep us "stay at home"s in the picture, so to speak. Thanks again for your efforts.

Tex Jones, SASS 2263
Yul, With reference to your post about all the photos you took that have no names attached, why not post them all, if you have time, and let the Wire fill in the names? It could take some time, but could be fun. Tex
