    I can understand that. I'm kinda in the same boat. Hopefully your gunsmith will figure it out and get it running correctly soon. :-)

    If it were mine, I'd take it completely apart, examining the parts as they came off, lubricate as normal, reassemble and see how it functions afterwards. I'd say its worth a try.

    Both .45 Colt. One with a 7 1/2" barrel and the other with a 5 1/2" barrel.
