Thanks much for the info.  Maybe there is hope yet.  I'll keep looking around various places here in Alaska , maybe some are finding their way here, or will be soon.  Wont be shooting until Spring anyway now,

Keep checking Wally World, I've been running across CCI #11 for $5.62 a tin. The quality sucks, so may not work on a pistol, but work ok on my Hawken. The compound is not level in the cup and some are all on one side with the bottom of the cup showing on the other side. Wish Remingtons would come back.

Found a good supply of newly packaged CCI #10 and 11s in Delta. Something like $12.00 bucks a tin and about 20% take a second wack to go bang. Remingtons they are not!

Are the RWS percussion caps good quality?  Like the 250 count.

What happened to the  Remington # 10 caps ?

I have never seen so many complaints on them not going off ?

They have always been the go to Cap for Pistols .

Did Remington change the process  on  how  they  are being  made  or something  ?

Currently Remington #10 caps are unobtanium. Remington has produced any since Covid.

The CCI #11s, which are the same size as a Remington 10 seem to suck! The quality has really slipped. They won't work in my pistols due to the compound being off to one side of the cup and the cap won't go far enough into the nipple. They do work on my Hawken however! Only the few that are completely empty need to be culled.IMG_20230518_110005.thumb.jpg.70d207daa1d56c432822b2c7fe4b5fe9.jpg

This pic is of magnums, but recently purchased standard ones are just as bad! As said in another thread, the building must be tilted!

recently there was a post on this web site about using primers, set in tubing, on cap gun nipples. I tried it on my remies with no problems, may need to alter colt style guns to make it work but better than not shooting, if there legal. post was three or four weeks ago,

CCi #11s are not the same size as Rem #10s.  Rem #10s have a longer skirt, and seem to hold to the nipple better.  Rem #11s & CCI #11s are the same size however.  RWS #1075s are also the same size as CCI & Rem #11s, and the tin of 250 I got from Graf's seem to be of good quality, I use a pusher stick to seat them the same as I do with Rem #10s.  I've been using them for local shoots to same my remaining Rem #10s for larger matches.  I still have my local dealer looking for Rem #10s for when they're available hopefully sooner rather than later!  Luckily, I haven't had to use the RWS caps in a match yet, but did test them on my pistols prior to CAC, just in case.  All set off charges on first hit.

The last local match where I used my 61s I used CCI #11s on the last two stages. All out of Remingtons. I presorted the caps and culled any that were less than 3/4 covered across the cup. They did all fire using Slix cones but the cups blow apart into irregular shrapnel.
