Dantankerous
While reloading I came across this. The bullet cannelure was cut higher on one bullet from the box. Brand new Hornady .430 dia XTP. (See bullet on right.) Same bullet, correct weight, correct diameter as all the others. Anyone see this before?

Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Mis-feed in the process of applying the cannelure? I would let Hornaday know.

Eyesa Horg
Kinda looks like it flipped when going into the cannelure press.

I tried some photo trickery by flipping and pasting images to compare. That’s not it. That is what I thought when I first saw it too.
Perro Del Diablo
I've not had good customer service through Hornady. Only use if nothing else available.
Oak Ridge Regulator
last time I had trouble with a hornady product I got a whole new press with all the goodies thrown in and extra bullets as well, I was pretty impressed with their service, I would send them a pic with the box lot number and see what happens
Colorado Coffinmaker
Perhaps ONE out of how many Hundreds of Thousands?? Not much of an issue to get your tidy whites in a twist about.
Smokin Gator SASS #29736
It looks like there is a slight indentation that would have been the correct spot for the cannelure to be made.
Michigan Slim
Crimp it in but not excessive. It will shoot fine I'd wager.
