Children who ate Weeties could sign up to join the Willie Weeties Club in Carnamah -a town and farming community 300 kilometres north of Perth where one would received a birthday message from the club in an envelope in 1953.

Willie was a dressed grain of wheat with a crown on his head.

I was on a company fishing trip to Canada years back.  The guide in our boat used the can to relieve himself.  Rinsed it, but I skipped the coffee on lunch break.
