I have used LS grips in Neosho MO.  Guys name is Lance Schofield.  Not well known in cowboy circles but he does a wonder job and has many exotic woods to choose from.

AZgrips on ebay did some nice thin ground Mastadon grips for my wife's Single Six's. Altamont has been out of stock for over a year.

furnitureyourway on ebay has lots of grips, some very gaudy, but they carry a faux ivory that has some grain in it, reminds me a little of the defunct Bar-S Tru-Ivory.  I got a pair for my 1911 and love them.  They carry grips for various Rugers; but unfortunately not for Colt style.
