You don't realize how good you have to be to skip one across the water intentionally and even get it on the green let alone get it in the hole.

  On that par three the custom is to hit low and skip it across the water onto the green.

that was the line of my dirt track racing life ..very short life one season

im lucky to get to the green in par let alone skip a golf ball to a playable position , but ive tried a lot and there are lots of my balls in water at every course ive ever played - its why i gave up golf , oh and me temper had a little to do with that decision as well ,
