The reporter judiciously kept his newspaper out of the argument by not reporting which side the parties were on. Else I think some letters to the editor might be something like “he’s right” or “free Mark Edwin Turner”.

Interesting turn of phrase.

"Turner allegedly pulled out a knife"

 

"The allegation is that there was alcohol involved"

 

Sounds like we have the trifecta there.

Bedford County is just a wee bit away from me. Not surprising, as most folks are Scots - Irish. And, they were born to fight from many centuries of experience. And he was probably just using the pistol, til he could get to his long gun (12g).
