Chief Rick Posted January 18, 2019 Posted January 18, 2019 I have been offered a Ruger Vaquero, .44 Rem. Mag., stainless with 5 1/2" barrel. Not sure if it has the original Ruger box or not and I've not handled it. Is $500 a good ballpark/starting price? Too high/low? He only has one.
Major BS Walker Regulator Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Unless it has been dragged down a gravel road tied behind a 4x4, good price.

Red River Rudy, SASS #8490 LIFE Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 Big Daddy has two Ruger 44's and he was trying a while back to sell them!

The auction websites are where to find a mate for it. In 2012 I was looking for a mate for a 357 stainless OMV. I only once saw one for sale on Gunbroker. I lost the bidding at the last second. Months later I found a Lispeys special blued 357 OMV which I had to settle for. While I loose style points for one stainless & one engraved blue pistols the handle the same as opposed to mixing OMV w/NMV.
Irish Pat Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 I think I would rather have the $500, you will need another 44, holsters and reloading dies before you are done

Irish Pat Posted January 19, 2019 Posted January 19, 2019 I don’t know, will the old model vaqueros fit in the new model holster?

It's not screaming take me home... But I wouldn't want to pass up a really great deal.
