Korupt Karl
Can you give us some idea of props, layout, etc. Do you have buildings, facades or just tables? If you want sweeps, they are on the internet. KK

Arrange your steel (on paper) Then the stages will write themselves.

Grizzly Dave
Congrats Wolf, you will do well. Here is a glossary of sweeps that you might find useful. Of course my favorite sweep is the Grizzly Dave sweep. 5 targets, double tap the center, single tap the two on one side, double tap the center, single tap the two on the other side, double tap the middle. ex. 3.3.4.5.3.3.1.2.3.

Edward R S Canby, SASS#59971
Take time to read and re-read the Match Design handbook that found on this website. There is no need to learn the do's and don't of stage design by trial and error.

Marauder SASS #13056
FYI on sweep names, only use the very common sweeps such as Nevada, maybe Lawrence Welk, etc as the names vary by location and we cannot remember all of them anyway. So just spell out the sequence in number: 2 -1-2, etc. http://www.dhicowboy.com/Stages.html http://www.srscowboy.com/Stages.html http://macon.homestead.com/files/stages.htm http://vvc.lrsa.info/scenarios/August2015.pdf
Grizzly Dave
Howlin' Wolf - some MDs I know of keep a spreadsheet or notebook of the sweeps by name and sequence, and note the date of the match when they use them. That way you are less likely to fall into using the same old sweeps all the time. You know your range and stage props, and have had good examples by the MDs before you at that club. You will do well. I will interject my own advice though, when possible, have stages that can be run both left to right OR right to left, us left handers will thank you. While most of your bays I think would allow down range movement thru a stage, you don't always have to do it that same way. A flat firing line works to. Keep in mind where guns are staged and re-staged so that nobody is going down range of a horizontal muzzle. I could go on, but would mainly be sharing personal preferences, you know better what your shooters like and don't like.

Blackey Cole
Download past EOT and winter range shooters books use what you can get ideas from all also check other matches. I know some of the ga clubs publish online the stages before the match. When I started writing stages I searched the web and filled a notebook full of them still have them plus every book from a match I shot. Then I take a stage here and there and make it my own and we would shoot that also. Just because you are the mid doesn't mean others can not provide you with stages each month.
