Congrats to Deuce on a great shoot at the Smoky Mtn ShootOut.

Great to have him, Doc, Uncle Johnny and of course, Lightning Wayne.

Great posse #6. Good to shoot with RJ Law and The Lady. And good to see Duke Skywalker still runnin FAST and flawless.

My good friend from Memphis, Tarantula Jack won the SRGF category by just a whisper over another good friend of mine, Tn Critter.

AND NOW for the Apology to Red River Ray.

Ray, I really didn't know that one of those Geisha twins was toothless until she took her teeth out and started 'gumming' on your ear lobe. Next time I hire someone to escort you around the big city (Oak Ridge), I'll make sure she comes with original equipment.

But, you must admit that she was playing it cool until we all went to the midnite cantina that has the Karaoke. And after you had a couple brewskies and started singing 'You Look Wonderful Tonight' to her, that was when the teeth came out.

Anyhow, I thought a public apology was in order. I'm sure you will return the favor if I show up at the NC State in June.

Hey Marauder.

Ever see some of them businesses that have signs on the front door that state certain 'restrictions' like NO SMOKING or NO FIREARMS?

Welllll, this particular 'Cantina' had a sign on the front door that stated 'NO CAMERA's ALLOWED'.

Sooooo, unless someone snuck a camera in OR, maybe their picture taking cell phone, there may not be any pixs. Of course, if someone did get a pix, it would be priceless.

Hey, I don't make this stuff up. ;)

OK, hope this don't get me in trouble. The Cantina we were in was crowded an I can't seem ta recall everything that happened, as some cowpoke was freely offerin up double shots of bug juice ta several of us trailhands. However as resourceful as I am I did manage to get one picture of tha beautiful Senorita Calvalina, sometime after midnight.

I had a hard time beatin back Mose,Tombstone,Three Cut,Whiskey Creek an several others last night as ya know when a new hen comes into tha coop tha Roosters all wanna crow! Widder I shore wanne thank ye fer a fine time wid her. Gotta love them gums.:ph34r:

Congrats to ya Deuce on a fine second day shootin and a good match overall. Good ta see an talk to you an evabody else.

Man what a good match this has become. Very good stages written by Fast Harley. Hats off to ya.

Its good ta be beaten by a good shooter and not by a stupid scoring system, as this match is scored Total time! Good shooting by Deuce and trying to go alittle to fast an missing beat me, not by having tha dice rolled to see just how bad your misses would effect you:wub:

Posse 7 rocked This was probably tha fastest posse I've shot on. Everyone got along an worked together great.

Good range good weather great food at tha range also.

Concrats to everyone who won their classes. Good shooting.

And to my new friend Vaq Jake I surly enjoyed watchin ye shoot.

RRR, I do believe I have danced with that somewhat questionable Senorita Calvalina you got pictured there one night up at the Possum Trot. I could not remember her name but I do remember she had really big feet.

It was great to see everyone and sorry I had to miss the big party Saturday night but thanks for keeping an eye on Lady T for me.

I never get tired of telling Duece CONGRATULATIONS....seems like if he goes some where he usually wins. Good going pard.

That is one handsome woman.

Manatee: those fellers were fightin over her. When they all realized that physical threats were useless, they decided to draw straws (or high card) to see 'who' could dance with her first. Of course, this was after she took out the teeth.:lol::lol:

I ain't one to spread rumors and such, but I did hear that she and Mose were thinkin about try-outs for Dancin With The Stars. :o

Hey, I don't make this stuff up.

CW, go to that link and go down the page right below our info box, you will see a listing for scores. We are working on a detailed report now but since we used total time we are having to build the report table and seem to have an error in one or more of our code lines. We will get it post ASAP, meanwhile, take a look at the over all reports.

I want to add my congratulations to Widowmaker Hill for bringing the Smoky Mountain gunfighter trophy back to Tennessee. Visiting the Smoky Mountain Shootist Society, shooting Fast Harley's stages and visiting with Widder, Tombstone and the rest of the gang is always a pleasure.

Howdy Buck. ALWAYS good to see you and Sugah. Glad you enjoyed the shoot. Harley set up 10 of the finest stages anywhere to be found.

Guess I'll need to travel to Alabama this summer so you can 'pay me back'. :D

Hope we cross trails a few more times this summer my good friend.

What an AWESOME SHOOT!!!! Talk about a first class operation, and fantastic Stages!!! I can not wait for next year.

Congratulations Deuce, and all the cowpokes who won, shot their best, and just had a great ole time. What a great shoot! And, I learned more at this shoot than any other. Buck D Law clued me in on one of the greatest secrets of cowboy shooting. When filling out the applications for all these various shoots, wehn you come to the "Posse With", write down "Purdy Women". Other than the gorgeous brunette photoed by RRR between Possee 3 and Buck's Possee, we had "purdiest ladies" there. YEE-HAW! MD

Would you fellers try an post a stage by stage score sheet if possible. Some of us like ta look alittle deeper into a match than gist tha OA time.

Thanks

Mayo is working on it as I type this. Since we used total time we had to figure out 10 stages for the total report and something about code problems. I got lost somewhere around there. We will post it as soon as it is up.

Hey Ray, we're glad you came also.

Just wanted to let you know that when I drove home this afternoon, the marquie outside the 'Deep Laggoon Massage Parlor' read: 'Thanks Wed Wiver Way'.

Those twin Geisha girls had a good time. I got their bill today and they charged me overtime prices.

Oh well, guess its time to start saving my pennies again for next year.

Hope to see you in June.

Who is this cowboy????

Close as I can figure, there are 5 pieces of brass in the air, 4 that I see and one behind his gun stock and maybe another one out of the picture.

There are some photos posted from one of our members. This one is timed really well

Congrats to Deuce and all the category winners. Thanks for coming!

Also, congrats to my friend Widder for first place in a category close to my heart!

A big thank you to all the volunteers who helped put this on.

Right now,the plan is to have the Ninth Annual in '12.

If we do it will be bigger and better,(and maybe even faster!)

Appreciate all the good comments.

Harley.

Here is a poem inspired by the after-party for the SMSO.

To get an idea, see photo early in this thread.

You had to be there to understand, but I'll post it anyway.

Things You Can't Unsee

Minding my own business in a town called "Ridge of Oak"

Talking and laughing with a bunch of the cowboy folk

Suddenly,Wallyanna appeared with her "girls"

Calvalina,Cactusina,and Loosasita,with long-dark curls

All the men-folk were filled-up with fear

Watching Calvalina munching some cowpoke's ear

There's things in life you just can't unsee

Things so bad and awful they should never be

Sick, and dizzy, against the wall I had to prop

All I could think to say was,"Make it stop, make it stop!"

Fast Harley

Ask RRR,he knows.

Hey folks, Harley just don't make all this stuff up either.

There had to be some inspirational activity to inspire this beautiful piece of poetry literature.
