Snakebite
Has anyone tried the 12 ga Fiocchi Extra Low Recoil (7/8 oz) shell in their SXS? Did you have any problem with them releasing and failing to "Shuck" out easily? Tnx, Snakebite Edited February 3 by Snakebite
slow poke gear
Me and my son tried these last season and couldn't get them to shuck from the barrel. They always seemed to stick.

Warden Callaway
Sawmill Mary uses the Fiocchi light loads exclusively. She doesn't shuck but tips up and let them fall out. Very reliable for her. 5
Snakebite
Tnx for your feedback. I load my own shotshells for my wife and myself but always try to keep a few cases of "Store" bought shells on hand as backup for times that I am unable or too lazy to load. When I started looking around I found the Fiocchi lite loads, but since posting this question I came across AA lights at a decent price and ordered a bunch of them. Buckshot Sheridan
I know I have some Fiocchi shells that will occasionally stick in one barrel of my clays gun.
Captain Bill Burt
I’ll add that I had about 25% ftf reloading with Fiocchi primers, so if they use their own primers I would avoid them. Edited February 4 by Captain Bill Burt

Strange, I have never had any FTF with their primers. Are you using light weight hammer springs?

Are you using light weight hammer springs? Fast Eddie SKB. I gave some to a friend to try and he had the same problem. I’ve used LNLR, STS, and Gun Club new shot shells with no issues. I’ve also reloaded extensively with Federal and Cheddite with no issues. But with Fiocchi’s I had failure to fire once out of every 4-5 rounds. LOL, I have several thousand I’ll part with at a very reasonable price! Edited February 4 by Captain Bill Burt

Warden Callaway
Sawmill Mary's Stoeger Uplander is bone stock right down to the scored chambers and factory springs. May acount for it's reliability. She's changed rifles a couple of times, handguns too. But won't part with her Uplander.

In fact, there are seven state matches coming up in the southeast. I’ll donate these primers to any Seniors competing in one of those matches. But wait, there’s more! I’ll even give your guns a free cleaning just prior to the match!! Don’t wait! This is a limited time offer! 1
