Okie Sawbones, SASS #77381 Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Season 2 is ongoing on Paramount+.
PowderRiverCowboy Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Cool , while I cringe at the open lack of situational awareness in that show , it still and decent scenery and dont take much to follow . Been awhile (winter storm ) since I watched the first season so will have to watch it as a refresher
Rye Miles #13621 Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 I have to pay extra for Paramount +, no thanks enough is enough!
Pat Riot Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 My wife and I have watched the first 2 episodes of season 2. I like the show. 4 hours ago, PowderRiverCowboy said: Cool , while I cringe at the open lack of situational awareness in that show , it still and decent scenery and dont take much to follow . I agree, there are times in the show where my wife reminds me that “it’s just a show”. I guess it bugs her when I yell at Pickett for being dense.
Coyote Kid, SASS#54714 Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 Adie Belle and I watched the 1st season this past weekend. We both like it. I've taped season 2, episodes 1 &2 for this week. Coyote Kid
Steel-eye Steve SASS #40674 Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 It looks like Season 2 is based on the novels Blood Trail and Nowhere to Run.

You know I learned long ago to just to just laugh at some parts there are a couple that actually hit to close to home other than made for TV needs more action stuff , the series Seal Team is good written by a couple SEaLs and Tyler Grey was Delta . Kinda funny to sit and hear a Navy show refer to your old Army unit , but as mentioned Season 2 hit way to close to home.
Rye Miles #13621 Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 1883 was on free on Paramount for the first 3 episodes then it went to P+. Joe Pickett was the same only I got 10 episodes on Paramount then it went to +. Now 1883 is on regular Paramount, they must have lost money! Pickett will do the same thing in a couple years! What a bunch of rip off scumbags trying to squeeze every penny out of you!

Anvil Al #59168 Posted June 15, 2023 Posted June 15, 2023 We just started watching it last night. Got in the first 2 episodes of season 1. Will watch a few more tonight. It's a little on the slow-moving side. But has been interesting so far.

I remember almost giving up on season 1 as it seemed to drag but then the last 2 episodes about flung me outta the recliner!!

Marshal Dan Troop 70448 Posted June 16, 2023 Posted June 16, 2023 Joe sure gets beat up a lot and I don't know how he is ever going to deal with the stupid sheriff and his incompetent Deputy.
