Subdeacon Joe
An example of what the recent storms have done. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lake_Berryessa Berryessa gets no water from the Sierra, and very little from snow melt.
Pat Riot
Lake Shasta Nov. 14, 2018 as I was driving across it heading south on the first part of my move from from Oregon. I wonder how it looks now.

Doc Shapiro
And we haven't yet gotten to the snowmelt. Groundwater needs more than a couple of years like this to recover, if it even can. There's been some subsidence, and there's not as much absorption as there was before the recent drought.
Cold Lake Kid, SASS # 51474
Too bad they don't have engineers and technicians who know how to build retention ponds.

Since the 1920s some parts of the Central Valley have had close to 30 feet of subsidence because of pumping. Some of the aquifers may never recover. Pat Riot
He said jokingly… California, a land where water shortage is a constant concern. A land where the wealthy businesses and people water their property so much the streets run like streams in the early morning hours and the Tesla, Land Rover and Porsche drivers complain about messing up their car’s detailing to the point where limits are enacted on water use. A land where water use at night is almost matched by daytime use so the smarmy can keep their wonderful cars looking sharp to impress others as they sit in parking lots that are also known to be “Freeways” during some hours of the day. I've seen here were water shortages had homeowners allowed to water their lawns only twice a week with a time limit and the Golf Clubs, New home Subdivision Sites that were selling their homes, and some businesses were watering everyday for hours. Cypress Sun
Karine Jean-Pierre has announced that the pictures are actually from a desert relocation of beach sand from Lake Tahoe due to climate change and sea level rise. The icicles shown, are really wind driven salt spray stalactites originating from a sugar-deprived lake in Utah.
