Yul Lose Texas Cart

Recommended Posts

Well the Yul Lose "Texas Cart" with a St. Michael and Thin Blue Line tribute has made it to Texas! Jeff Jackson, aka Colorado Jackson, won a YL cart in 2020 during the LOCAS fundraiser. He told Yul he wanted it to be Texas Themed and the best cart YL had ever made. I won a cart in 2021 and shortly after, we lost CJ. YL wanted me to finish out CJs cart as he had already started it and then they could raffle mine off as a fundraiser for Melissa Jackson. Luckily Missy was kind enough to agree. I kept everything Jeff asked for but added St. Michael,  a thin blue line running from El Paso to Beaumont, my alias, and a CJ as close to Colorado as they could get it.  Yul Lose nailed this along with his leather pard, Double Diamond.

Glad it made it and I hope you enjoy it for many years. Big Iron Patnode had 4 requirements for the cart.  1.  keep it a Texas themed cart.  2. CoJac remembered as close to Colorado as we could get him. 3. The St. Michaels emblem and 4 The Thin Blue Line other than those items he left the cart design and embellishment totally up to Double Diamond and myself. He didn’t want to see the drawings or anything else that we were going to do to the cart and when it was finished he didn’t want any pictures, he wanted to see it first hand. I hope everyone that sees it will see a little bit of one of the best pards ever to play our game.

That is awesome...and NOT "underrated", as CJ would say.

The Yellow Rose really stood out, but I would have to go with the nice large dual cup holders. We need them in Texas right now!!!

Really looking forward to seeing the panels first hand later this month. Every panel was impressive.

Beautiful work and a beautiful tribute. Pictures probably dont do the cart justice.. didnt realize how much the yellow rose pops until i scrolled to YL’s pic.. the sun and shadows really show the 3D.

Congratulations BIP on a beautiful cArt! thank you for sharing.
