The lake is a Resevoir...fed by the Pine...and another smaller tributary.

The river is just above Santa Fe...the Rio and the Chama merge.

Oh Sue, I am embarrassed. I went to school close to the San Juans in Cortez, CO, and hunted elk on Uncompahgre Peak. None of this terrain looks familiar. Is it in CO or NM? What's the closest town?

It is a mix of terrain from outside Santa Fe (Ghost Ranch) thru Chama, Pagosa and Vallecito

something tells me i would love high northern NM and southern colorado as well , save the colorado politics of course
