Warm in The Republic

It is a mite warm. Could be worse. My brother in law and wife live in Scottsdale. Week or two back one of his windows blew out (no windows cracked). Of course it was a Ford to boot. ;)

108 yesterday but as my dad and grandpa would tell me when I complained about it being too cold, hot or wind, "Its only weather son, get used to it,"

At 5:00 pm "weather dot com" sez it's 105° in Madera... the thermometer on my covered, screened in front porch sez 110°.  

 

'Tis a mite warmish.  Whew

About the same here in East TX.  Yesterday it was 99 with heat index of 110. Today 99 with heat index of 107

I spent 10 years of my life in Corpus.  The humidity makes the heat worse, but it’s not as bad as Baton Rouge.
