Pat Riot Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 My Dad adored her. He would stop in his tracks if she was on TV and he saw all of her movies. She was definitely a "star".

Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984 Posted May 13, 2019 Posted May 13, 2019 I always had her like Debbie Reynolds, nice women. She would never play the Calamity Jane of Deadwood.

Westerns are not great vehicles for everyone! I don't think Pee Wee Herman or Jim Parsons would fare well as a western movie hero. There are many others as well! Miss Day was fabulous in many other genres of film. Not westerns!!
Hoss Carpenter Posted May 14, 2019 Posted May 14, 2019 When I was young, I loved her in "Pillow Talk" , Rock too. It tarnished somewhat when I found out he was Gay! Hoss C.
