Deuce Stevens SASS#55996
I know Happy Trails used to do the conversion but no longer does them. Anyone else know a smith doing the .32 to .38 conversion ? Yes i know they require a shorter OAL and lighter gun equals more recoil. This is a " I 'm bored " project. Texas Man
I think Allen Horton fro Houston is still doing them. Allen is a great guy and his work is the best. He has done nice work for me in the past. Texas Man
Marty Mudd
Shoot .38 Short Colt or Long Colt in them. Should be real pussy cats. I shoot them in my Doc Holliday, Cimmaron Lightnings, Uberti 1890 Remington and Arminius 7 1/2" Colt clone. They all shoot extremely well with them. PM for loads that I use. Texas Jim Henry, SASS #20616
Another vote for Alan Harton (not Horton). Talented and competent, a pleasure to do business. As the word has gotten out, his turnaround time has gotten longer, but the results are worth the wait. Regards, TJH
Cayuse Jack, SASS #19407
David Clements from Clements Custom Guns also used to do the conversion. Not sure if he still offers it... (null)

Oklahoma Dee
Interesting. I assumed he was referring to a Ruger Single Six in 32 H&R, that he was interested in boring it out to a 38 caliber.

Chili Ron
Howdy, If you really want to do this conversion just call West Fargo and he will take care of it. If it can be done he is your man. Im not sure but I bet this will cost at least $500 plus your gun. If I was doing it, and Im NOT, I would start with a .22 as they are much more common and sell the 32. As West Fargo will do the action etc. West Fargo has had some health issues, Im not sure how he is doing just lately. You might need to call him a couple times to git thru. All his work for me has been solid. Best CR

Cheatin' Chamberlin
I have always thought that Ruger was missing out, not offfering them in 38spl. When my wife starting shooting cas I would have bought a pair. We purchased a set of the P jr's instead. Great little pistol in 38spl. Let us know how it goes with the conversion. Buffalo Dick, SASS #12880
If you wanted something really different, you should have it converted to a five shot .41 special.
