  2. Even a pirate know that burglar needs and ARRR.
  3. Have a 600 junior, picked up a used 8567 last winter on the cheap. Once I got it adjusted it makes nice shells quickly. Like Leroy said, just more stuff you have to watch vs the junior. 5 min to load 25 and that’s working it pretty slow. No doubt you could cut that time in half. LF.
  4. You wanting to make cowboy (gallery) loads, or full-power factory type loads? It's made of about the same ingredients and technology and plant as TiteGroup, so it will PROBABLY make good cowboy loads with a little less charge weight than TiteGroup. Since it may be years before Hodgdon decides to publish more cowboy level load data, like most powders used for our sport, you are kind of on your own. Start what you think is low level, take a squib rod and go out to the range and do the testing. If you are thinking about full-power loads, I would CERTAINLY call the Hodgdon tech support line and ask for any data they may already have. They will either help you work something up, or they may "take notes" that you would like to see some data in the future and perhaps put it on the "to be tested" list. My guess - They will be somewhat reluctant to test it as a handgun powder when they designed it to be a shotgun powder, but they have done the "expansion of suitability" testing the other way with TiteGroup in the last year (from handgun to shotgun). They will probably NEVER test a Cowboy 45 Special loading. But you probably realize that. I have used it in tons of sporting clays shotshell loads (12 gauge 1 ounce) for the last 2 years where it does perform very well - about a match to Red Dot or slightly faster. If all this sounds like too much hassle, then buy some TiteGroup. It's widely available, and lots of us have shot TiteGroup in cowboy loads for years. good luck, GJ
  5. My wifes demented step mother got one of their letters in the mail and went around telling everyone she had won 10 million dollars. She honestly believed she had won. TM
  6. The bolt / cylinder stop snapped and I replaced it. I didn't realize this effected the timing and needed to be adjusted. I took some sandpaper to the two edges on the tail end of it last night. Seems to have taken care of it. Thanks again, guys! I really appreciate it.
  7. Red Dot available right now at Natchez in one lb containers. Kind of pricey but this may be the last opportunity to get them for the foreseeable future. Link below. https://www.natchezss.com/reloading/powder?brand=Alliant Powder
  8. I’ll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
  9. Numbers On The Cars Riley Green wrote this cut about his grandfather's battle with Alzheimer's. Despite having the disease, the singer's grandad could still remember the names and car numbers of his favorite NASCAR drivers. "Growing up near the Talladega Superspeedway, I used to go over to my Granddaddy's house as a kid and watch the races," Green explained in a press release. "He knew every driver's name, number and sponsor, and so as the racing season kicks into full gear, it seemed like the perfect time to debut this song."

  11. Sort of like in the Olde Dayes when you had to crack open Vol. VII of your Britannica, and Vol. VI of your World Book (cross checking using different sources), and find an interesting, entry, so you chase that down, and soon you have 18 different books open around you. Sometimes you even remembered what you went looking for in the first place. (which reminds me...I fired up the desktop to look for simple apple, walnut, oatmeal breakfast cookies and just stopped to see what had gone on in here overnight)
  12. I'm strongly with the guys that say NEITHER!! I'm sick and tired of being bombarded with constant adverts for stuff I have no interest in as well as really annoying Tin Cupping. At's why I have a very good JUNQUE intercepter.
  13. They also suck at picking up pecans. They leave as many as they get and it takes a lot more effort than using a reach extender
