Sheriff Dill
Looking for recommendations on the best chaps for our son. He is 15. Looking for something that will last him a while and to grow with him. He is 5’10”. Thanks in advance Sherriff Dill
Captain Bill Burt
I think the tough part of what you're looking for is the 'grow with him' part. The Iron Cowboy went from about 5'10" at 14 to 6'2.5" at 17, so it can be tough for clothes to keep up with that. I only have one pair of chaps, which I recently purchased from Doc's Old West (he's on Facebook). I really like the chaps. He put more work into them than I asked him to, delivered early, and his price was very reasonable. Leroy Luck
+1 for Doc’s Old West. I purchased a pair of chinks at Land Run last month. Absolutely incredible craftsmanship for a fair price. Seems a bunch of folks have purchased from them.
Sheriff Dill
Thank you very much. I will look into his chaps. We are both new to the sport. Me more than him. Chinks are the shorter ones that go about knee length correct ?
Mister Badly
You could buy the chinks a bit long so they will work as he grows.

Sheriff Dill
Also if anyone is thinking about getting any chaps or chinks for gifts. I was advised they can be done before Christmas but that list is filling up fast.
