Alpo
I'm watching a TV show the other day. Fiction. The gourmet chef is explaining how he got that luscious flavor on that hors d'oeuvres. "Escargot entrails." The guy sampling the food said, "snail guts?", and spit it out. Same show, different episode. The girl is showing that she has what it takes to be on "Fear Factor", and holds up a glass. "Fermented squid guts", and drinks it on down. Snails got guts? Squids got guts? Do they? Anybody know? Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
The only bit of squid guts I ever saved was the ink pouch, useful for black rice or pasta and such

Michigan Slim
If it eats, it craps. If it craps, it's got a poop chute.
Cypress Sun
Every one I've stepped on had guts.

I always did, because the "vein" also contains sand, & I don't need to give a kidney stone any help in forming.
Marshal Mo Hare, SASS #45984
Just FYI, the line on the inside of a shrimp is its central nervous system.
Trailrider #896
I don't know much about critters, but there are a bunch of two-foot mammals that don't have much in the way of guts, and danged sure, no backbone!
