I couldn't help myself and have bought my 4th 45/70.

A Little Big Horn Commemorative Trapdoor Carbine.

It will join my Sabatti Double Rifle, Pedersoli 1886 and Pedersoli Boss Sharps.

I'm at six - four single shots, a lever action, and a BFR revolver. :)

Big medicine. Trying to add up how many I have. One Winchester High-wall. One Uberti High-wall. One Pedersoli Sharps.  On Trapdoor Springfield.  One Marlan 1895.  I think that's it.

Just one, a made in Japan Browning 1876 that is my go to gun if Kodiak or Polar bears ever show up in Central Arizona.  Until then it's just a hoot to shoot and one of the most beautiful rifles I've ever owned.

I wanted a new Ruger stainless 45-70 in the longest barrel (SBL?)
But, this is just kicking tires, as it would never hunt anything other than paper targets at the range.

Said by someone who has what he wants and just wants you to feel better.
