me too , i have a 43 AAF enlisted cap , and a set of gunners wings on my ball cap in memory of my father who would be 100 this year , i dint wear my B-29 ball cap with the wings  much , nor do i wear my FILs }original nautilus crew"  cap much , but they are in my collection of covers

UB!  My mom has a picture somewhere of my dad wearing the same hat, taken when he was in the USAAF during WWII!!
